🇬🇧 Guys, I know I’m a little late, but if there’s one skincare product that completely transformed my routine this year, it’s VT Reedle Shot. I don’t say that lightly. I started with VT Reedle Shot 100 straight away because my skin isn’t sensitive, and from the very first week, I could tell this wasn’t just another hyped-up K-Beauty product.

I’ll admit, I was a little hesitant at first, which is why it took me some time to embrace this product fully. I worried it might make my skin more sensitive, and I’d even seen reviews describing the sensation when you apply the product as “unpleasant.” But honestly? I love it. That subtle tingling makes me feel like the product is truly working, like something transformative is happening beneath the surface, bringing me one step closer to the skin of my dreams.

I must confess that I’m also not a big fan of microneedling, even after I saw that it was part of Naomi Campbell’s routine (and she’s my Beauty role model). I don’t like needles, no thank you. Microneedling is a skincare treatment that works by creating tiny, controlled micro-injuries in the skin. These micro-channels trigger the skin’s natural healing response, encouraging the production of collagen and elastin, two key components that are responsible for keeping the skin firm, smooth, and youthful looking.

And Reedle Shot is meant to be microneedling in a bottle.

WHAT IS IT

VT Reedle Shot is a booster, a booster in Asian skincare is a product that’s applied directly after cleansing. It uses microscopic, naturally derived spicules (tiny needle-like structures) infused with soothing cica (centella asiatica) to create micro channels in your skin to make all the other products in your routine penetrate better and exfoliate at a deeper level. It uses the CICA Reedle™ technology to achieve this.

WHO IS IT FOR

Everyone! VT Reedle Shot comes in different strengths (50, 100, 300, 700), determined by how many Cica Reedles the product contains.

The Reedle Shot 50 is for very sensitive skin; it contains 38,000 ppm Cica Reedles (3.8%). This is the only Reedle Shot that can be used during the day; all the other ones are used at night.

Reedle Shot 100 is the starter for most skin types, and it contains 95,000ppm (9.5%) of Cica Reedles. This is a gel texture, and it can be used daily, at night.

It’s better to start with the lower concentration and build up your skin’s tolerance gradually. Reedle Shot 50 is more suitable for very sensitive skin types; otherwise, starting with Reedle Shot 100 is recommended for everyone else.

HOW TO USE IT

Using VT Reedle Shot the right way is key to getting results without irritation. Make sure that your skin is properly dried before using this to minimise any potential irritation.

Step-by-Step:

  1. Cleanse or double cleanse your face thoroughly.
  2. Apply a thin, even layer of VT Reedle Shot to dry skin.
  3. Gently press it in, don’t rub aggressively.
  4. Follow with soothing or hydrating products (especially sheet masks)
  5. Use sunscreen the next morning (non-negotiable)

THE RESULTS

Smoother and more even-toned skin, reduced pores, and your skin will be glowing.
